Our beloved St. Francis School is 50 years old!

Reading

We continue to work hard using/reviewing our reading strategies for next week's RAD Yearend Assessment.

 Math

We learned parts of a double bar graph so please review as the sub will teach how to make one tomorrow.

Remember that I will be gone for the next 2 days so follow your procedures to stay on task as it is a short week with a tight schedule to follow for testing.

All classroom teachers were to give their students a talk last week, which I did on Tues., about following procedures and staying on task for the remainder of the year.  All year we have been emphasizing this as the year of independence.  Students clearly know the expectations but in all situations, we know choice plays a big role in successfully demonstrating an outcome/appropriate behavior.

As always; choose to follow the MIGHTY 5 Motto: "organization, procedures, work habits, attitude, and desire" to strengthen OR  begin independence in achieving outcomes.

FYI

May 22 - $5 & waterslide permission slip due

Everyone needs to be practicing daily their computation skills for the Yearend Math test.  Decimals and Fractions is a large section on the test so you should use IXL to brush up on your memory of the needed skills.

Make sure your parents see the email I sent you on the school board free download for Microsoft 2013 if you do not have it on your home computers.
