NARRATIVE NEAR COMPLETION!

NARRATIVE WRITING

Today was day 3 of 3 set aside for editing/revising on the components of a narrative and the 6 traits of writing.  Students are expected to do their final draft on their own including self - assessment.

The 2 self - assessment parts include 1 trait of writing and 1 narrative component.  Please note:  characters and setting topics are not available to use.

Here is the setup all students are to follow when they do the self - assessment in comments:

Self - Assessment: THIS GOES INTO YOUR COMMENTS SECTION

1)  ____________ (name of the trait you have chosen to comment on)
Then clearly say exactly what you mean as to why you feel this trait has been strongly developed in your narrative AND how you have improved using an example in your explanation.  PUT ANSWERS IN YOUR OWN WORDS, NOT COPY FROM THE RUBRIC CRITERIA.
This is term 3 so your self-assessment answer needs to be more detailed.

2)  ____________ (name of narrative component you have chosen to comment on)
Again, clearly say exactly what you mean as to why you feel this trait has been strongly developed in your narrative AND how you have improved using an example in your explanation.
This is term 3 so your self-assessment answer needs to be more detailed.
